Chemistry Formula Practice
Work through problems grouped by formula and reveal answers when ready.
How to use this set
Treat every problem as if it were an AP Exam FRQ. Each formula includes three practice questions (simple, unit conversion, and multi-step). When you are ready, expand a problem to check your answer, or jump to the full explanation PDF below.
- Show all work — write out every step, include all units (even when substituting values into formulas), and present your final answer in context with correct units and significant figures.
- Use pen and paper — work on a separate sheet of paper (preferably one page per question) using black or blue ink.
- Avoid iPads — writing on a tablet is not as effective and is not how AP Exams are conducted.
- Do NOT use a keyboard and mouse — handwriting your solutions builds the skills you will need on exam day.
